Cookie Policy
Last updated 7 September 2026
Go4Tap uses as few cookies as it can. A visitor who taps someone's card is not given a tracking cookie at all.
Cookies we set
Session cookie: set only after you sign in to your own Go4Tap account. It is HTTP-only, same-site and holds an opaque token — never your details. It is what keeps you signed in.
That is the complete list. We do not set advertising, retargeting or third-party analytics cookies.
Public profiles
Opening a public Go4Tap profile does not set a cookie. Visit counts are computed from a salted, daily-rotating hash that lives only in our analytics table and cannot be traced back to a person or device.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking the session cookie means you will not be able to stay signed in to your dashboard, but public profiles keep working normally.
